Funny searches on Google
Written by Christian KochApr 7
The AutoComplete feature of Google shows us now for quite some time, possible search suggestions. Among these is a lot of bizarre and funny.
I've been a few days ago a short article about Google's autocomplete function I wrote, which you can see from nice and easy to search for alternatives to what most products.
I was also wondering if maybe more than just the number of searches for these proposals to be used. And it actually seems to be that only the search frequency is crucial. During the search I ran into all sorts of bizarre search suggestions and I never imagined even bother to find himself made a couple of funny.
Funny proposals come to light for example, if you just looking for people in general, like 'my mom', 'my parents' and so on. Well, that teenage parents are stupid, the boss is an idiot and children can be stubborn, nothing is what has surprised me. But that my mom says I hear rap and no photo can do more purely already ![]()
Funny search phrases are also obtained if one simply begins typing a question word. Even after the "why" (including spaces behind it) works on the proposed windows and shows me that well, "Why is this straw," is most often asked (some will know the background, but this is NSFW, so there's no another link here). The question "Who has blocked me on MSN" seems indeed to be asked often.
From a marketing perspective, I find it much more interesting, what people are googling in connection with a brand. I've done this time using Google and Apple (on Google Germany). To be honest, I respect Apple expects more positives than negatives. But then I put in the position of seeking it is obvious: Who has a reason to search for "Apple is good" or "Apple is better" to google. Angry customers, however, often look for other negative comments on the net, it was drained to confirm or merely air. I was wondering, how many of them also just google for fun things like that.
Switcht you to access the English-language google.com finds himself even more. "Google is skynet" is and remains my favorite!
Meanwhile, there are even websites that deal exclusively with Google's autocomplete like autocompleteme.com (English) and the German counterpart to autocompleteme.de . With Google you can deal so wiedermal for hours, so I stop here.
Ok, two, three, I still have. And although I know now, that is the most wanted of all Steve's Steve Jobs and Steve Ballmer does not, I know that the most wanted girlfriend, who is from Mario Barth and that the internet is boring ![]()

Thus, some market research companies save a lot of money. Very good post ... unzterhaltsam.
Well, it's not so funny, because there are finally people are looking seriously for it. And with the proposed function is growing.
@ Matthias is true because I have not even thought of. If one assumes that these proposals will also be clicked, then this is again assigned a higher relevancy. Logically, this would mean that these proposals will ever carved in stone.

"My mom says ... I can kick it no more photo" is the HAMMER
Very funny idea
Are a couple really nice things here at the examples from Google autocomplete / suggest. My favorite is also "google is skynet"
As website owners / SEO perspective, the proposed function is to maximize interest in the so-called long tail keywords. The competition in 2-7 words phrases is very competitive with not so long, and now coupled with higher click-through rates be a nice new niche to generate more traffic by Sumamaschinen ...
Greetings Greenseo
Hello,
Thank you for mentioning my blog.
In fact, it is very interesting, what with Google Suggest (aka autocomplete) just happened. As Greenseo it says, can now be optimized from SEO point of view very well longtail. The problem is rather that in such a long search often put behind no great Tarfficvolumen more. For küzere terms but very interesting.
All in all, you can also us also look forward to lots of new funny searches
Best Regards
