[ Trigami-Review ] Each of us knows das. You buy a new board game and instead blithely go on it to play, one must first read the tedious rules of the game. That was yesterday! Today, there are explanations on video game control.
Games offensive.de called the provider, in which one of over 250 board games or card games like ansich also gets the right video game control declaration (for online viewing - not on DVD). If you purchased the game elsewhere, then you have the option to buy about 4 € such, that is, you get to register and purchase an unlock for it and can watch it as often.

This is useful, especially for large and require explanations games. I did this using the game Shadows over Camelot tested. This game is crazy by extensive and in my opinion is among three or more hours does not bring to an end.
Here is my experience with the guidance of a video:
The video itself can be found most easily when you click on the small film role alongside the game in the shop, or by his or her account in the corresponding hardware chooses videos for which it is activated. Even at first glance one sees that it is not just a video, but actually many individual (as it was at least in my game manual). The makers have complete instructions that is split into chapters such as game design, game rules and sample round. The games Declaration on "Shadows over Camelot" even has seven main chapters:
- Introduction: The introduction to the game is presented very briefly ansich. No closer explanation.
- Game Design: To be able to follow the following chapters, too, first the structure of the game is shown. In the case of Shadows over Camelot that was sorely needed. The game has its own 4 game boards, of which 3 are also printed on both sides. By the camera the game also shows every now and then from above, one can crib from the building quickly.
- Rules of the game. This chapter is different from game to game. Due to the rule that you were playing in the Shadows over Camelot is always a good activity and evil activity must, once again this chapter is divided into Phase 1, 2, "quests" and end of the game. The entire chapter takes rules and therefore no less than a full 30 minutes. But even in those 30 minutes were the makers do not give ANY information, it is also time and again to other comics, as referred to as the "quest log". But that is ok, the game explainer tells a simple case occurs if X, then read on page booklet Y Z. This is ok. After all, you can never remember anything anyway. Especially not when the video is a little longer.
- Special Abilities: Even this chapter derives from a peculiarity of the game. Each character has special abilities known. For example, "Sir Gawain gets in Camelot 3 instead of just 2 white cards" and the like.
- Variation: There were the 3-player variant. In my case we had to improvise a little. Since the game is required at least three players, we have simply added a third thought, which of course had to play with open cards

- Example Round: Despite all the declarations in advance, but this was now to me that the most important chapter in order to properly play one or two laps. This may again depend on each of the games complexity.
- Game Recommendation: From a marketing standpoint great idea: Finally, it is recommended that the viewers have an appropriate recommendation to others, or to an add-on. In my case, the games commentators have recommended the Add-On "Merlin's".
For games explainer: In the event that the good man in the video is an absolute and Kartenspielfan board, he has probably found his dream job
I think that he can not explain well. He apparently does not read, special free talks. Now and then there is sometimes a little slip of the tongue or a statement that he has to revise again shortly afterwards. This made him sympathetic, however, and you realize that a) little has been cut out and he b) have also engaged with the games you have.
I now have only one explanation tested on video games, am sure, however, that the video games offensive.de always adjusts to the specifics of each game. Sure, anything else would make little sense, but what I would like to put forth is that one based on the split into various chapters and the chapters contents immediately recognizes that the makers have really dealt with the game.
I personally found it surprisingly pleasant to get an explanation of the game in this form. Depending on the game, but the video may take quite long (the longest lasts about two and a half hours and is for the game Descent), but it really makes sense to complete the instructions to watch movies more quickly into the game. Especially after the first time before each game, it is nevertheless now and again have access to the traditional game manual. After all, it's now faster times but just the enclosed booklet aufzuschlagen to login as a boot up the computer and to play-offensive.de.
In the future I will offensive.de games before buying a board game and are looking at. Should agree the price and a game guide to be online, so I'll fall back again like it.
If you'd like to get a whiff of course can watch a sample video for free: video game control declarations .
