No commitment fee for T-Mobile also in order in the business
Written by: Christian KochMay 25
I recently received my first bill from T-Mobile for my new contract, which I in April for my Google G1 * had been completed. Since I had not exceeded the inclusive minutes and 200 MB free data transfer, I was even more surprised that me more than the 30 € for my "Combi Relax 60" agreement was calculated. Namely € 46.55!
What's going on? The list gives detailed information: It has been calculated a one-time delivery fee of € 20.97 net (24.95 € gross).
What's going wrong? Sure, everyone who's ever on the rates of T-Mobile site has read knows that if one enters into the contract online, the facility fee is waived. And I the contract in the T-Mobile shop in my town have been completed. However - and here's - I'm the seller then asked explicitly whether I would have to pay this fee once, because otherwise I would prefer to complete the Contract online. And the seller clearly denied this and said "the facility fee does not apply of course if you buy in our store!"
Honestly, I'm angry and I am now "again" about to regret the purchase of a telecom service!
Going to call today (or tomorrow) the customer hotline and nachhaken times. I hope you come to me. € 25 are not the world, but a promise is a promise! Either way I'm going to report on the goodwill or the goodwill of non-T-Mobile.
Argh!
UPDATE:
Hooray - everything is fine. Am no longer angry, T-Mobile later canceled the commitment fee. So easy to satisfy the customers!
The lady at the other end of the free customer hotline (speed dial from the phone 2202) has kindly apologized for the mistake of the seller and arranged for me to be charged at the next billing € 24.95 less. Funny though: Old book Risch it was not possible this so on the invoice (why else) should, therefore, I compare the invoice upon receipt of the next invoice with the actual amount debited will fail € 24.95 which would have less.
Um ok, the main thing is that way.
