Affiliate programs http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affiliate_ 28Partnerprogramm% 29% offer webmasters the opportunity to generate revenue. But to what extent advertising has the effect on my personal blog credibility?
Basically, two points suggest to integrate advertising into your own blog:
1) cover the cost of webspace and own domain (hosted so far and the blog itself has been placed) and
2) "compensation" for the time invested.
The first point should be obvious to everyone. Google AdSense for this seems to be used as a common way. From a certain traffic levels of the blogs should revenue exceed the costs quickly, especially in view of the fact that today only one can get two or three euros a month web hosting packages. For example, I am with campusspeicher.de http://www.campusspeicher.de/?werbecode=Mjg4Mw == * and pay for two domains and XXX GB webspace just € 2.95 per month.
About the second point, I have less formal "compensation", may certainly be disputed. For one - I assume - each with a private weblog written from the joy of writing, because expertise is available from the message out or just need to keep a diary, etc. - but not to generate revenue! Secondly, I consider myself as a business manager but the time spent for this purpose in mind. Multiplying this time now with the hourly net revenue, which could be generated by alternative work, it seems the marketing of their own blogs justified.
Note: private persons think love, you can also contact your Blog income, if you sit on your tax return!
But how advertising works on private Internet sites to visitors?
From personal experience: One of my favorite blogs is basicthinking.de. Favorite blog is, in my case: surf almost every day, skim title, interest in reading and commenting here and there an article. A few weeks ago I was allowed to read that you have chosen to use affiliate links in the future. At first I disliked it, but then - one second later
I found that it had been in for a treat anyway. But of course I see this from the perspective of a Webmaster - this can see and understand the potential step. What do think, however, non-webmaster? Is the author still familiar in the same way if it can earn money through the article? In principle, reviews and recommendations from consumers on the Internet as a very credible, and of 95% (via http://www.fuellhaas.com/2009/04/28/der-kampf-um-glaubwurdigkeit/) of all Internet users for purchasing decisions gladly used.
2007, a study (commissioned by ask.com) that read 68% of all respondents (over 600 participants) like blogs, because you could read there other than in the media (via http://www.foerderland.de/ 419 + M58faf5eecc0.0.html). In terms of credibility of corporate blogs cut off the worst. 25% of respondents believe that content is less. And private blogs expert blogs were better because: Only 2.1% are professional blogs and only 12% are private blogs suspicious. Private blogs are so confidential nature. The course also know brand suppliers and therefore seek through affiliate programs and paid articles on weblogs for their products to advertise.
Determined some of the visitors to doubt the independence of the written opinion or a recommendation to the unselfishness! And the more advertising on private blogs is used, the higher the risk that they lose the trust advantage. Especially when advertising is not labeled as such. Reputable vendors, such as commit their Trigami http://www.trigami.com/?ref=Cookie * bloggers even said that the label always on top before the beginning of the article (ie, between the title and blog entry) must be attached. Thumbs up!
From this point you have to distinguish regular readers and new visitors:
Regular readers will be less doubt about the credibility. "They know each other," you trust the authors. In the case of basicthinking.de was elucidated in the article on your promotional links and critical readers were reassured, was made clear in the:
"Copy exact text ... ... the linked products are not so expensive, only a little bt deserved ..."
New visitors who come in via search engines could fluttered as to be destructive in your promotional links, less trust the content and the website accordingly leave quickly. Finally, there are countless blogs that give the impression you want to be serious and independent, but in reality a paid article after another exhibit, visitors want to click on specific links or animate only pillar of Link pyramids.
When advertising, which should be considered?
Honesty: Credibility is always a prerequisite for honesty! Unfortunately that is not self-evident today. For example, I write you about my experience with brand suppliers. Honesty is therefore at the top! Bloggers should tell their readers about the purpose and intent of their blogs (for example, in an "About Me" page). A private Werblog one normally assumes no commercial intentions, but should - be informed about this - after a certain amount of advertising. A few AdSense placements are determined to take no position. In my opinion, it sends an article to write as soon as you start to integrate affiliate links directly into articles.
Transparency: Authors should identify and affiliate partner links in articles as such. For example, I hang on to each of these links, and an asterisk to clarify then down below it. Other bloggers write behind every link in brackets if it is an affiliate link. A few bloggers even offer readers a choice: your items once included the traditional link directly below and as an "affiliate link" affiliate link. Very polite, so everyone can decide whether he wants to do something good for the webmaster or not. Should be placed outside of the product advertising, this course should also be identified as such. Well, surely it is obvious in many cases and therefore unnecessary, on the other hand, it lends itself to many places. So I've provided my advertising blocks in the blog's sidebar with the heading "Advertisement".
Affiliate links, advertising blocks, partner links and articles on targeted paid-ich.de:
Actually, "disfigures" I hate my layout with ads and I am also of the opinion that it is only from a certain number of visitors is worth, commercials installed. In my case, I still had active accounts from previous web presences in several other partner programs. These were now on hold for some time and some were even open a credit, but this was not paid because the payment limit not yet reached. A good Schwabe away of course not, and so have decided to partner in some of this blog (if thematically appropriate) to be integrated. Although it will take, given the (still) small number of visitors something until it reaches a minimum payout, I have incorporated since January of the following providers advertising on targeted-ich.de:
Google AdSense: AdSense install a WordPress blog is easy, thanks to appropriate plugin installed and hence I have AdSense ads from the beginning in this blog. The revenues are limited, but at least I'm going to my web hosting costs in again.
CONTAX http://www.contaxe.com/?cchnref=13131 * offers besides statically defined and context-sensitive ads (content-based) advertising and is therefore comparable with Google AdSense.

Finanzen.de http://www.finanzen.de/partnerprogramm.html is newly added. As I enjoy a variety of financial topics (for example, my experience with free checking accounts with direct banks), write me this seems to be appropriate Affiliate.
Trigami http://www.trigami.com/?ref=Cookie *: So far I have not written any articles against payment. Offers small and medium-sized companies, I have already received. However, I refused each time because the contents did not match my blog theme. In Trigami I am indeed logged-targeted ich.de but it is still not unlocked. Because the range of this blog at the moment we say "my life", I can also imagine that is rejected by Trigami.
Applies to advertising of any kind on the target group-ich.de:
· Can I If you offer an affiliate link in the future instead of a conventional, so this leads you to the same goal, but runs through an affiliate network, and has by no means a disadvantage for you.
· Other affiliate links in articles are always based on the content and you should also offer added value (eg, direct link to the article, to compare prices or more information)!
· No articles are written to encourage you to click any behavior! If I ever publish articles for cash, I write impartially and maintain my own honest opinion.
· Most of my links are as usual completely ad-free place, and either a recommendation on my part, a source of information, or additional information about this product dar.
I look at the integration of advertising on my blog in the first place as an experiment, especially with the thought that I would write about my experiences over here. Hope I have then to report more positive than negative
What do you feel about advertising on private blogs? At what degree the credibility suffers? At what number of visitors affiliate programs pay off? Comments about this, I would be happy.
