Austrian Airlines advertisement: The densest network in Eastern Europe since the KGB

Austrian Airlines currently advertises with the slogan "The densest network in Eastern Europe since the KGB." Funny or precarious?
After me in the latest Business Week (10/05/2010 issue, # 19) noticed the ad motif of Austrian Airlines, I am also after a short search on twitpic on @ schomberg 's Photo encountered a large poster with the said subject.
On the one hand, a funny play on words. After all, is the claim of the Austrian Airlines "We fly for your smile". On the other hand, it is also risky. After all, stands the KGB, not for children's birthday covenant, but for espionage and the Cold War.
Only recently, the Austrian Airlines had their fingers burnt with a motive, which "To each his own" was used as a slogan. "His" was an allusion here to the same river. Unfortunately, however, this phrase was also at the entrance to the Buchenwald concentration camp attached.
Well, this saying in everyday life and falls down again - but always without any allusion to this camp. I think - - but in advertising that is dangerous, especially in Austria and Germany.
