Opera's funny advertising "Potatoe slow. Opera almost "as a parody of Google Chrome advertising" Speed Test ". Funny homemade video!

Many of you will know the advertising for the Google Chrome browser, called "Speed Test". Here the speed of the browser in a variety of absurd tests is shown. For example, measures whether a potato gun is faster than the browser.

Opera competitor takes this spot now with great wit and a shovel to make a slightly different potato test.

Here's the commercial for Google Chrome "Speed Test":

I have watched more than 100 million others just like the Euro Vision Song Contest. Same time I'm on our star-for-the-oslo.de live comments from Facebook and Titter-tracked users. One even wanted "more" Lena Meyer-Landrut :-)

The highlight of the discussion was very clear during the performance of Lena Meyer-Landrut. The live ticker came barely keep up and I almost missed this great Facebook status update:

A true fan of Lena Meyer-Landrut :-) That thousands of other Facebook users reading this post could also be affected less discreet, well not really.

My only contribution was: Read the rest of this entry »

Saturn in Austria has launched a TV ad, which advertises a lot of humor for the "Home World" with a full HD flat screen TV.

It is taken up with great wit the resignation of the Austrian team in the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2010.

"In South Africa it will be raining anyway, it's awfully loud in the stadium and the Germans are still here - thank goodness we do not go there!" :-D

We Germans are not necessarily the favorite neighbors of the Austrians. Especially during exercise (at least during winter and sport).

Technically, this advertising spot is a clear 1-0 for Saturn Austria!

Advertising with grammar and spelling errors

Spelling and grammar errors in advertising? Banners, posters and advertisements with the wrong spelling? This is not uncommon.

Advertising - THE point of contact between supplier and consumer brand - will enable us and our influence in purchasing decisions accordingly. However, advertising has on spelling errors, so the bears do not just become a competent image for the brand.

AdSense ads is just following me noticed at one of my articles:

"Our e-Power backlinks you get to the front" would it mean? I would not fire the SEO agency here, but once again condemn the writer for grammar lessons.

Even if you have a blog just a hobby operates, it is still a brutal thing, if it fails due to technical reasons.

If you're even with the wits' end, then are good forums or the support of the hosting company A and O.

As horrible as it looks not a day when your site is accessible:

Austrian Airlines currently advertises with the slogan "The densest network in Eastern Europe since the KGB." Funny or precarious?

After me in the latest Business Week (10/05/2010 issue, # 19) noticed the ad motif of Austrian Airlines, I am also after a short search on twitpic on @ schomberg 's Photo encountered a large poster with the said subject.

Machete trailer and the original Lego-Style

Machete of Tarantino's film, from which you thought it was just a fictional movie preview for a film in the film really comes to the cinemas. And already there is a least as good remake in Lego style.

Hardly a day goes by where you do not stumble over a video clip in Lego style. Among them are really good movies that are based mostly on the full original. A great example is Machete . Here's the trailer in the original:

And here is the remake in Lego-style (after the break):

[ Trigami-Review ] Anyone who has already moved, can sing a song about it. Everything must be organized: get boxes to pack, moving vans, volunteers organize, disassemble furniture and - to re-register!

With all the stress, one must of course not forget the new address on insurance, banking, insurance, ADAC, Payback, etc. to communicate. But wait, there may be helped: Single ummelden.de means of service, one which decreases the hassle of writing letters, picking out the mailing addresses and sending letters or emails.

I've been testing the service. Because the service is Immobilenscout24 to where I already had an account, I was able to via "Move" to register quickly and fairly easy-to ummelden.de. Ok, now signed, I was most impressed by the user-friendly structure. From filing to re-registration will be by just three steps:

Step 1: Sign up. I already said yes.

Step 2: You will enter the old and the new address. It's nothing spectacular, just a form, so I must not dwell on it since.

Step 3: Now you get an overview of providers ~ 6000, sorted by industry, so health insurance companies, banks, phone companies and so on (!). That's great. I've always personally namely the one or other party forget. The company, which the service should now be informed about the move, it marks easily.
